Deutzer Brauhaus in Cologne

We recommend. Especially the schnitzel with french fries, the pumpkin cream soup and the sauerbraten. We love to come back to try the rest of the menu through.

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. Recommended for a good lunch.

I tried this place because it was one of the few still with the kitchen open at 9.30pm. the shank was good although a little dry and the beer ok

Classy. Real. Not too touristic, surprisingly good for a station pub.

At 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, the seats were full and narrower than necessary, despite Corona, which I found a bit strange, as about 2/3 of the available rooms (by the way, quite a beautiful location) were locked. The food was very tasty, the waiter more flippant than necessary, which I personally don't like that much, but that has to be the case in Cologne breweries. Nevertheless, I would like to see more caution with regard to the table distances in pandemic times.

A brewery as many in Cologne know. After the renovation completed years ago, it has become a magnet. Very nice, but also loud and usually very well attended. Usually are the Köbesse as you know them. A visit can only be recommended. Good location and easily accessible by train or train. Always my pleasure.

My recommendation: place setting by the honor guard. (Spinach with fried potatoes and fried egg.) Tasty tasty.

Great terrace, usually very nice service. Eating is good brewery cuisine with excellent Kölsch. Relatively busy at peak times, but always a good choice due to the location.

Only give 4 stars because we only ate little things there today. But overall I am delighted that there is finally a good restaurant there again. It wasn't all that great in the past. We felt very comfortable ?

It is remarkable depending on which waiters are there, the mood is sometimes better or worse. This time it wasn't so plump. Had better days.

The ambience is okay, but the noise from the crowds can be annoying when you're sitting in the beer garden. The staff is friendly and professional. The prices are excessive for the dish on offer. There's better in Cologne

Food pork knuckle was very good. The tables were clearly too close together, sometimes less than 1 meter to the next table. On the other hand, the terrace was partially blocked when the weather was nice and half the bar was also blocked in the interior, so everything could easily have been straightened out.

Not only the nice restaurant staff was the big hit during our visit, but also the great ambience. My husband and I also think the prices are completely fair. All tables were immaculately cleaned and the armchairs were extremely comfortable. Everything is tasteful here Great pleasure. The portions are of a good and filling size.

The waitress soo but soo rude!!! As a foreign couple which came here to visit Köln, we wanted to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. The blonde massive lady spoke to us as we were beggers. We let her know we don't understand german but she acted like she wouldn't care. We asked for a coffee,which wasn't great, by the way. We didn't know they don't accept credit cards so I went in searching for an ATM. Meanwhile the waitress started to shout in german to my girlfriend who were waiting for my return. My lady tried to say to her she doesn't understand german but the waitress kept shouting on the terase with other clients being there. When we left we took a picture with the place name and,again,she started to shout in german. NO RECEIPT WERE GIVEN AT THE END! Very bad experience as a foreign tourists! Regards, Sorin and Roxana!

In itself a pretty shop. Drinks were ok too. But sometimes took a long time even though it wasn't very full. I had the schnitzel Wiener Art and I have to say that it was the worst schnitzel I have ever had. My colleagues were able to confirm this. The other dishes were probably okay.

Best currywurst I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit.

Does a full range of German food, including some Cologne specialities. In fact for €11.50 I scoffed a Himmel und Äd mit Flönz main and washed it down with a €1.80 20 cl Kölsch beer. Easy to find, it's attached to the main entrance of Messe/Deutz train station. Seats inside & outside, most of the latter covered in case of rain.

The service was unfortunately quite unfriendly and the food (schnitzel Viennese style) was criss-crossed and difficult to enjoy, also in terms of taste. Really very disappointing for the price of € 14.50. Only the location of the brewery speaks for this shop. I will definitely not come back.

Nice outside terrace and friendly staff. I found it to be quite expensive though. You can pay in cash and by card.

Food is good , but it is overpriced and when i was leaving , I realized they did more than one mistake in the calculations , they returned the money when i told them and apologized .

We really liked the place. It is very conveniently located and well worth a visit. The food was good plain and tasty. Due to its open design, it is unfortunately a little louder from the background noise. But I think you like to do it for a good meal. Incidentally, the toilets were very clean. We will be back!!

Very good for a train station restaurant. Great place to stop before taking the ICE, it's better than the "bordrestaurant".

The food was pre-cooked. (Schnitzel). The staff seemed unhappy and forgetfully we were there. There are better place to eat when in Cologne.

Tasty local food at reasonable prices, cold beer, helpful staff and great atmosphere.

Plenty of seats available. WC upstairs. Nicely outfitted. Unfortunately the staff were unfriendly and quite rude. Only came for a coffee and the waitress rolled her eyes(!) at me. Totally unnecessary. But there is little choice at Deutz Bhf so take your pick.
